Trevor Lee vs. Trent Seven (Revolution Pro Wrestling-High Stakes- January 21, 2017)

We had an NJPW/WWE match earlier and this is a WWE versus TNA match. …we start with a dance-off. Goddammit. Lee attacks Seven from behind to at least somewhat redeem this. I’m not a huge fan of goofy heel Trevor Lee who uses TNA as his means of getting heat. Trent is okay in this match, but Lee continues going back to Hardy spots and wrestling like it’s Memphis in the 1980s instead of 2017. This felt incredibly disjointed and left very little impact (pun very much intended) on me. Stone wins after hitting a short lariat and piledriver.

Winner (s)/Rating: Trent Seven/*1/2
