Two veterans of Progress to start off this huge Orlando show. Drawing 1200 people is pretty impressive but for a British indie to do this well in central Florida is even moreso. Both of these guys have undergone an evolution in their careers. Some nice early mat wrestling. Havoc teases a handshake but decides to punch Sabre in the face and roll him up for two. Pace picks up. Sabre gets control and keeps up the intensity we saw the night before in the ACH match and for much of 2017. We see Sabre starting to bleed, and things only pick up even more. Incredible exchange of forearms and various other strikes. Sabre rolls him up for a prawn hold and gets three.
This was an excellent back and forth match. I’m not someone who is sold on Havoc as one of these great British indie workers, but this was a tremendous showcase.performance as he showed off his wrestling skills. Very good start to the show.
